Reading the Parish Privacy Policy
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church · CoreWhere to find the parish privacy policy, and how to jump straight to the section that answers your question.
You have a question about how the parish collects, uses, or shares your personal information, or you want to know your choices under Texas privacy law.
The parish holds personal, sacramental, and payment records to run parish life. Texas law and Church policy require a plain explanation of what the parish collects and why. This policy is that explanation.
What you will do, in one sentence
Open the policy, then use the on-page list to jump straight to the section that answers your question.
Last verified against the staging system on 2026-10-20. Screens shown are the staging system (an isolated copy of production). This page shows no parishioner data — only the parish's own policy text. Prepared 20 October 2026.
1. Where to find the policy
The privacy policy explains what personal information the parish collects, why it collects it, who it shares it with, and the choices you have. Anyone can read it. You do not need to sign in.
The parish updates this date only when it edits the policy itself. Nothing else moves it — not the time of day, and not whether you are signed in.

- Open your parish's privacy page. A link to it is at the bottom of every screen.
- If you are already signed in, look for a Read our privacy policy link instead. It appears on your Communication Preferences page, and near the end of the registration wizard.
It does not cover a website the parish links to but does not run, and it does not cover the separate records the Diocese of Dallas keeps in its own systems. Contact the parish office directly about those.
2. Jumping to a section
Below the introduction, the On this page list names every section of the policy, in the order it appears. Select any heading in the list to jump straight to that section, on the same page.
| If you want to know... | Open this section |
|---|---|
| What information the parish collects | Information you give us |
| Who the parish shares your information with | How and with whom we share information |
| How to stop parish emails or text messages | How to control what we send |
| Your rights under Texas privacy law | Your rights and choices |
| How long the parish keeps your information | How long we keep your information |

- Select any heading in the On this page list.
- The page jumps straight to that section.
- Scroll back to the top to use the list again, or use your browser's own page search to find a word anywhere on the policy.
3. Quick reference card
The whole thing, in three lines
- Open your parish's privacy page. A link to it is at the bottom of every screen. No sign-in is needed.
- Use the On this page list to jump straight to the section that answers your question.
- The date near the top changes only when the parish last changed the wording.
When to stop and ask
- You believe the parish is not doing what the policy says.
- You want a copy of your information, or want something corrected or deleted.
- You are not sure which section covers your question.
Parish office — ask for the person responsible for parish records.
Two rules
- This policy covers the STFoA app only — not a linked website, and not the Diocese of Dallas's own records.
- If you do not agree with the policy, contact the parish office directly. You do not have to use the app to take part in parish life.
Thank you for reading how the parish looks after your information. If a section still leaves you unsure, the parish office is one call or email away.
