Confirming a Parent Session for Your Household

USER GUIDE

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church · FormsHow to use the confirm link in the email your parish sends, so that a Parent Session make-up counts for your family.

Who this guide is for

You are the parent or guardian whose email address your parish has on file. Someone submitted a Parent Session make-up form for your family, and your parish emailed you a link. You do not need to sign in.

Why the parish asks you to confirm

A form that anyone can open without signing in cannot prove who sent it. The parish credits your family only after the parent on file confirms by email, so nobody can mark a Parent Session as complete for a family by mistake.

What you will do, in one sentence

Open the link in the email, then select Confirm once.

1. What the email is

After someone submits a Parent Session make-up form for your family without signing in, the parish sends one email to the parent address on file. The email holds a single link.

Your family gets no credit until you use that link. If you did not expect the email, do not select the link. Tell your parish's Faith Formation office.

2. Confirming

  1. Open the link in the email.
  2. Read the page title, Confirm your Parent Session.
  3. Select Confirm.
  4. Wait for the green message: Thank you. Your Parent Session is now recorded as complete.
Opening the link does not confirm

The page does nothing until you select Confirm. Mail programs that scan links cannot use up your link by mistake.
