Finding Parish Events

You are a signed-in parishioner. You want to know what happens at your parish and when.
The parish copies its events into the app on a schedule. The page shows the time of the last copy, so you know how new the list is.
What you will do, in one sentence
Open Events, filter by date or category, and select an event to read its details.

1. Open the list
- Sign in to the parish app.
- Select Events in the menu, or the Events tile on the home page. Select Programs on a phone.
The page title is Church Events. Under the title, the page shows Last synced with a date and time.
2. Find an event
Use the filters at the top of the list. The page updates as you change them.
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search | Shows events whose text matches what you type. |
| Category | Shows one kind of event. Choose All Categories to clear it. |
| Date Range | Choose Today, This Week, This Month, Next 90 Days, Next Month, or All Events. |
| View | Choose Grid for cards or List for lines. |
The page shows how many events match, for example "Showing 12 events".
3. Read the details of an event
- Select an event card or line.
- Read the Date, Time, Location, and Category.
- If the event shows Registration Required, select Register for Event and follow the page that opens.
- Select Close or press the Escape key to go back to the list.
4. What can go wrong

| "No events found" | Change the date range or clear the search. |
| "Events are being loaded. Please check back shortly." | Wait a few minutes. The parish is copying the list. |
| "Unable to load events. Please try again." | Refresh the page. Then ask the parish office. |
